As part of my ‘Home & Lifestyle’ series (see my main menu for longer articles, projects and posts!), here is a quick, simple, and very inexpensive, easy to make idea for your bedroom, office or perhaps kitchen – anywhere where you might like to put notes or quotes.
The cost of putting this together was around £2.50 to £3.00 in total, however it is a lovely little piece to have for inspiration.
The wooden frame cost £1.00 from Poundland (the UK equivalent of the Dollar Store or 1 Euro shops) and was from the gardening section. The decorative floral pegs were on sale for 50p for 16 pegs I think, and I bought 2 packets. I used two adhesive wall hooks at the top which came in a pack of ten from Amazon, and were fairly inexpensive, and the battery operated LED fairy lights I already had at home (an optional extra! 🙂 ) which were also from Poundland.
Cheap, yes, but altogether very cheerful, and a nice place to put up those random postcards, keepsakes, notes, shopping lists, etc that would otherwise be floating around without any particular place to call ‘home’.
